FINALLY!

Uh, huh...it's June 4th, not 1st. Summertime laziness tried to get the best of me. I finally fought back. GO, me!

I've really been keeping track of my calorie intake since Tuesday and am trying to stay between 1500 and 2000 calories a day. On Monday, my weight was 348.8. I have yet to find or buy a measuring tape to get all my measurements, but I'm planning to get that taken care of by the weekend. If I'm going to track my progress, I've got to have a "jumping off" point, right?

So, here's the biggest news of the week so far...I joined the local YMCA yesterday afternoon and took my first water aerobics class. GO, me! It was SO MUCH FUN! There were 6 of us including the instructor. I was the fattest, of course, but I did exactly what everyone else did and I LOVED every minute! I've never done a water aerobics class before, but I WILL do it again! This morning, I'm going to do "Water Walk" at 9, and if that doesn't kill me, "Water Jog" at 10. I also have a little landscaping project planned for the next few days, so that should burn some fat as well. So, far, so good. Finally.

Here's the blog plan...you see how great I am at keeping up with all this, right? :)
  • Measurement Mondays - I'll post my measurements for that week. Oh, Lord, please let the numbers get smaller each week!
  • Tell It Like It Is Tuesdays - You never know...I guess this will be whatever is on my mind that day.
  • Weigh In Wednesdays - weight for the week Oh, Lord, please hear my Monday prayer once again.
  • Nothing clever yet for Thursday...hmmmmmmm.
  • Fit and Fat Fridays - I will track meals, calories, and exercise for the week.

If you're thinking, "That sounds boring. Why would I want to read that?", remember, the blog is for my accountability. Maybe you'll read it because you need to be motivated also. Maybe you'll read it because you're the fattest person you know like I'm the fattest person I know, and if I can do it, you can do it. Maybe you'll read it today and never come back.

Whatever you decide, I'll be here, and the blog will be, too.
