What a Girl Wants

What I want: My usual breakfast - Chick-Fil-A Biscuit, hash browns, and 4-count Chicken Minis. Oh, I'm CRAVING that this morning. Oh, my gosh...C-R-A-V-I-N-G! And then, I looked up the nutritional info. ONE THOUSAND NINETY CALORIES in that breakfast. Oh. Never mind, then.

What I want NOW: Cereal...yum. I seriously have a true love for cereal. So does my husband. I bought some Special K over the weekend...vanilla almond. It's delicious. So, I'll just have that this morning instead of the Chick-CAL-A. I want 3 servings of cereal and 1 cup of soy milk (I'm lactose intolerant...in a serious way...just ask my husband...poor thing.) That's 330 cals for the cereal and 90 for the milk. That's MUCH better...only 420 calories.

What I'm going to do this morning: Nothing. Now that my husband's off to work, I'm going right back to bed. Mmmmmm. I can't wait.

What that means: I have a formerly fat friend who says, "Food is fuel." And that's all...just fuel. I'm fighting to see it that way. So, how much fuel do I need to sleep? None.

Well, decision made. I'm going to have a little soda and go back to bed. I'll save my calories for later when I need the "fuel" to make things happen. And, p.s., for all you soda haters out there (who probably aren't even reading this), I know it's not good for me, but I get to keep one vice, and I allow myself one delicious Diet Pepsi ONCE a day. The rest of the day it's either water or Crystal Light, so save your hating. :)
